Has anyone ever thought of...

Anyone ever thought of installing a cbox (chatbox) on this site? Cbox <--link I've had some on other RP forums and they're kind of handy in a pinch to know who's posting next so no one really has to edit when they realized someone finished before them and respond strangely. Anyway, I don't know if this board will allow it, but it's just an idea. That way more people can just chat away anyway.

Hehe... Man, I used to -live- in the Cbox of an older site. It's a good thing to have, methinks. Lets everyone get to know one another, and quick-plan plots'n'the like. I'm pro-Cbox. Just gotta watch it for Spam bots linking pornography.

Well, I surfed the InGame forum here and apparently Natalie already had a chatbox up here on the site and it was a useless slow thing. *shrug*

I'm pretty sure that was the one that came with the site design though. So it was rather useless, yeah

There was a chat box that came with the site, but it was so slow Mota took it down. The thing to do is to refresh the storyline in another window before you post, and always be sure to know who's online, and if they have anything to do, or could have anything to do with your storyline.

I personally think it's a good idea. If we're not RP'ing *ex. Waiting on another character's response*, then it'd be nice to have casual conversation in, as opposed to making random threads every twenty minutes...

I also support it. Fosters a good community, opens up communications, etc.

It would be nice. You could install the one in the link. I think it's just a cut and paste job or something. I used to have it, but I seem to have forgotten how it worked when I ran my old site...

This and the following three posts, are good support for the "Pro-Cbox" movement. Maybe I'm just picky, but I don't like OOC chatter in the middle of the IC plot... <.<

I'm perfectly chill. I just thought it was a good example of the benefits of a Cbox. *Shrugs* So I provided it.

I love hot chocolate! My intention wasn't to make her fret though! I just thought it would be easier and wanted to share the idea. The Cbox thingie in my link would be hosted by that other site and it loads pretty quickly and everything. It can be independently refreshed from the page. I have no idea what you guys' old chatbox was like. Thanks for considerating my proposal.

No harm in a c box, but like erin said i will look for a diff one elsewhere 'cause the one here sucks. I'll open it up 4 u guys, then when i got mroe time look 4 a good one. Of course if any of u have a suggestion&link, share it.

ditto. i lke a clean rpg board, but am too lazy to nag ppl to erase their ooc comments ... or erase my own. Maybe I should make u moderator with that task, it IS an offer

I'd need more time to acquaint myself with the site and community. I was a mod before, and it wrecked the site for me. So for now I'll politely decline. Thanks for the offer though.

Oh, I'm sure you won't have the same problem. This site isn't structured the same way, nor does it seem to have the same sort of people. It was the admin that really wrecked the last site, very two-faced, and a little power-crazy.
